Business Analyst
About Me:
I am a graduate student at University of Washington, pursuing a Master's of Science in Business Analytics and will graduate in June 2022. Through my undergraduate degree in Business Information Technology at Virginia Tech, I discovered my passion for data, decision making, and programming. My work ethic allowed me to graduate with Magna Cum Laude distinction, 3.90 in major GPA, and make Dean's List four of my six semesters.
Leveraging data to discover actionable business insights has captivated my interest since I was introduced to it during my undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, and reinforced with my Business Analyst Internship with New York Life. Through my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, I have had practical experience with various analytical tools - Python, R, SQL - and machine learning methods, including: linear regression, logistic regression, neural networks, classification trees, random forests, bootstrap sampling, simulation, collaborative filtering, and more.
